Here is a general outline of how you can do this:
Find the API endpoint that you want to use in your Zap. This is the URL that you will use to access the data that you need. The API endpoint should return data in JSON format.
In Zapier, create a new Zap and choose the trigger that you want to use. For example, you might choose a trigger that fires every hour, or every time a new item is added to a certain list.
In the action step of your Zap, choose the “Webhooks” app and select the “POST” action.
In the “URL” field, enter the API endpoint that you found in step 1.
In the “Data” field, enter the data that you want to send to the API endpoint. This data should be in JSON format.
Test your Zap to make sure that it is working correctly.
That’s it! Your Zap should now be able to pull data from the JSON-based API and use it in your workflow.
